Cushioning the Impact of a Tight Budget

Challenge

A long-term customer of GTP who is the largest insole supplier to the US military and domestic footwear industry turned to us to develop printed fabrics that would be used on a new line of after-market insoles sold at the nation’s biggest retailer.

The decorative logo had to be positioned on the insole in an exact spot, which required a precise printing of the fabric. The program also specified the fabric to feature long-term abrasion resistance and antimicrobial protection.

Solution

Using modern sublimation methods to achieve the necessary printing accuracy and textured polyester yarns for cost-efficiencies, GTP delivered fabrics that met all the specifications at a price-point that even this price-sensitive end-user could embrace.
