Driving for a seamless solution

Challenge

An internationally known heavy-duty truck manufacturer was searching for an ultra-stretch automotive headliner fabric that allowed for a highly undulating interior cab design without the numerous fabric seams a conventional fabric would have otherwise required to cover the same paneling. After their previous fabric supplier was unable to develop the fabric, they turned to the internet and found GTP.

Solution

We combined an innovative stretch yarn, with high-tech colorfast dyes and a unique napping procedure to produce a fabric that had the stretch, durability and softness the customer was seeking.
